Hi, I'm Esther,

the Executive Director for Sun City West.

I am an Arizona native. After managing a medical office for several years, I started volunteering in Assisted living and eventually became an Executive Director.

Before entering senior living as a career, I cared for my great-grandmother and grandmother-in-law; these experiences instilled in me a desire to make the last years of my residents’ lives the best they can be!

As an active member and leader of several boards and committees, I help guide rules and regulations to improve Arizona’s senior housing industry.

I just celebrated my twelfth wedding anniversary to my husband, Derek, who is a nurse in senior housing. We have a 10-year-old son, Eli, who plays soccer, and an eight-year-old daughter, Eden, who plays basketball. We enjoy spending time with our family members all over Arizona; our favorite activities include swimming, barbecuing, and taking weekend RV trips.
