The community has undergone renovations on the first floor to add a secured Connections memory care unit with a private courtyard, set to open soon.
Connections memory care offers specialized support for people with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. Individuals who require memory care thrive in a secure and consistent environment with specialized attention from caregivers, as well as participation in active day-to-day schedules. Sensory calming techniques such as music and aromatherapy are common in the community’s day-to-day routine.
The community has also remodeled assisted living units to include new updated cabinets, countertops, and flooring.
The Rivers at Puyallup is excited to share the results with residents and guests. The community is open for tours.
